Core Project

Ingenuity, a London based new business consultancy and lead generation agency, asked us to deliver a new website to better communicate their services to their two key customers: agencies and brands.

Initial UX Sketches.
We designed the site architecture around a short snappy user journey that focused on directing the two key audiences off to separate, tailored content.

Although Ingenuity's offering is straightforward, the old site failed to effectively convey exactly what their business does, leading to confusion, uncertainty and a reduction in leads. To combat this, we created a sleek, animated intro sequence which appears to all first-time visitors to the site. The aim of this was first to educate users on what Ingenuity does, and then direct them to services relevant to them, depending if they are an agency or a brand.

Intro sequence
The initial sequence is controlled by a cookie to prevent it playing more than once to the same user.

Remaining inline with the Ingenuity brand, images on the site were kept to a minimum, and instead we focused on a strong typographic design, eye-catching animations and subtle colour transitions as the user scrolls through pages or navigates content.

"Having admired their work from afar, we appointed WAI to rebuild our website from the ground up. WAI are a perfect blend of strategy, creativity and diligence, keeping the project progressing on brief and to a tight schedule. They worked seamlessly with our existing SEO team and made things happen in a purposeful way. The team were very patient with us, making last minute changes and requests and also making sure we didn’t stray from the original brief. We’re delighted with the new site, and the feedback has been superb."
