Brief

Building Better Futures is Balfour Beatty’s charitable trust. Their challenge for us was to re-brand it and develop an extensive brand toolkit.

As with all branding exercises, we looked closely at the ethos, personality, goals and history to ensure the new brand was both a faithful and engaging extension.

Brand development
We developed a fresh and contemporary, origami-inspired logo mark, experimenting with many forms & ideas before arriving at the jumping star concept.

The origami theme developed into a visual language and applied to the full branding tool kit including style guidelines, motion graphics, stationery & social media templates, print / digital posters & HTML emails.

As part of the rebrand we produced digital posters to be displayed on large screens across the uk.

We also delivered unique video idents showing the logo transforming - via origami - into metaphorical representations of the brand.

Outcomes

The colourful redesign was extremely well received & has given the trust a brand new lease of life.
